Geneive Walker (Charisma Grace)
MEd., RTC-C, CCC
Clinic Owner & Counselling Therapist
Anahata Integrative Sex & Relationship Therapy (AISRT)
Greetings!
My name is Charisma Grace Walker, and I am a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate. As a collaborative practitioner, I enter the therapeutic space from a place of compassion and curiosity. Having a background in nursing, education, psychology, and social anthropology, as well as working in health, education, and mental health disciplines for almost two decades, has fueled my passion for people-centered care. Years of offering support to people entrusted in my care have informed my understanding of their life’s journey and the therapeutic elements necessary to foster meaningful support. This awareness inspired me to shift my focus to psychotherapy.
My practice is informed by the belief that clients are the experts of their lives and that they have internal resources that they can draw on with the support, encouragement, and facilitation of a therapist. Connecting with a therapist whose work is steeped in empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity creates the most conducive environment where change and transformation can happen.
The focus of my practice is with individuals and couples who are living through a wide array of difficulties and life stressors. Prior experiences in the counselling discipline have allowed me the honor of holding space for people with diverse backgrounds, religions, and cultures in a non-judgmental and safe manner.
With great respect to the client’s journey, my therapeutic practice appreciates an eclectic approach that centers an Afro-centric orientation which creates a fusion which draws on evidenced based therapeutic tools such as narrative, strength-based, emotion focused, mindfulness self-compassion, person-centred, and solution focused brief therapies; as well as other best practice options to tailor my approach according to my client’s needs.
Let us connect today! Book a session with me and let the journey to change begin!

“Osram ne Nsoromma” – The Moon and the Star:
A Symbol of Harmonious Connection
In Akan culture, the phrase Osram ne Nsoromma represents the ideal union of two celestial beings: the moon and the star. This perfect match is not just about compatibility—it speaks to balance, mutual respect, and the beauty of a relationship that flourishes through understanding and connection.
Much like the moon and the stars in the sky, your relationship can thrive when both partners understand and appreciate each other’s needs, desires, and boundaries. A strong connection is built not just on attraction but also on emotional intimacy, trust, and open communication.
Key Aspects of a Harmonious Connection:
- Mutual Respect: Like the moon and the star, respect forms the foundation of any thriving relationship. Recognizing and honoring each other’s individuality while coming together as a unit.
- Balanced Communication: Just as the moon and the stars coexist in the sky, balanced communication is essential. Each partner’s voice is valued, and emotional needs are met through openness and empathy.
- Shared Goals and Desires: Just as celestial bodies align, shared goals, both emotional and physical, help strengthen the bond. Whether it’s sexual fulfillment, emotional connection, or growth, mutual alignment propels relationships forward.
- Healing and Growth: Just as stars evolve, relationships grow and heal through challenges. With support, patience, and professional guidance, partners can navigate difficulties and find rejuvenation in their connection.
How We Can Help:
- Reconnect with each other through counseling that emphasizes communication and intimacy.
- Explore your desires, needs, and emotional connections in a safe and nurturing environment.
Overcome barriers to intimacy and deepen your bond to become a more balanced, harmonious partnership.
Anahata is also known as the heart chakra
which is the fourth of seven chakras or energy centres located along the spine. In English, the Sanskirt word Anahata, means unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten. Located in the region of the heart, Anahata connects us to our emotional self and our ability to give and receive love, compassion, acceptance, sincerity and experience harmony with those around us.
Fundamental to our human experience is our ability to not only connect and build relationship with ourselves, but also with others. Relationships are vital to our survival as a species. Therefore, connecting to others through relationship hold transformative power and fulfills our most basic human needs. So how do we engage with each other in a positive and vitalizing manner where we can express and receive love, connection, compassion and harmony? I work primarily with individuals and couples who are experiencing a range of emotional difficulties and concerns including relational conflict, lack of communication, sexual concerns, lack of intimacy, disconnection and isolation.
